The island Vannøya lies at 70° latitude, approximately 90km north of Tromsø. The island is known for its large variety of animal and bird species as well as its excellent hiking routes with mountains such as the 1031m tall Vanntinden.
A special hightlight for nature enthusiasts is the island Fugløy, which can be reached quickyl via our boat. This nature protected island is the habitat of many rare species of birds. The diverse landscape and clean air create a relaxing atmosphere, furthered by the breathtaking mountain view.

Due to richness in fish of the area, Vannøya is home to many fishing harbours such as Torsvag, Burøysund, Vannvag und Kristoffervalen.
Our vacation home lies near Kristoffervalen, in the south-east of the island with a direct view on Vanntiden mountain. The location is an ideal starting point for countless activites, with our boat lying just minutes away at the Kristoffervalen harbour.
